There prices compare to whats out there on the market. I was very surprised , that real solid wood furnature wasn't much more cost then manufactured wood. Manufactured wood has a life span of 10 years , while solid wood will last for decades. The other advantage with solid wood furnature over manufactured wood , is that it can be refinished in time. For example, the drawers open very smoothly and easily even though they are heavy wood, and you will notice the difference vs cheaper drawers which have more friction and are harder to open.
